Join The Fight Against Cancer In Wales
By admin
Issued on behalf of Cancer Research Wales
A Welsh charity is recruiting volunteers to help in the fight against cancer.
Cancer Research Wales, based at Velindre Hospital in Whitchurch, Cardiff, needs volunteers for all aspects of its fundraising work, including sales assistants at their charity shops, bucket collectors and stall holders at events, and volunteers to sell badges, and raffle tickets.
The charity funds vital research in Welsh hospitals. Cancer Research Wales scientists are currently researching ways of preventing breast and prostate tumours spreading to other parts of the body.
