Thousands of decision-makers from the full spectrum of Welsh business will flock to the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on Wednesday June 13th and Thursday 14th for the Ideal Business Show Wales and the chance to network and expand their business’s potential.
Billed as the most important two days in the business diaries of every small and medium-sized company, the Ideal Business Show Wales offers invaluable opportunities for businesses under one roof.
The event will provide owners, directors and entrepreneurs with ideas, advice and inspiration to help build their businesses – and the opportunity to meet potential new customers.
More than 3,000 visitors are expected to attend the show where around 130 exhibitors await them. There will also be seminars, business breakfasts and lunches each day with some of the biggest names in the business world as motivational speakers.
Top of the bill in the Innovation Theatre will be no-nonsense broadcaster John Humphrys who will put some of Britain’s coolest business operators in the hot seat.
Among those lined up to be interviewed are Chris Moss – chairman of the Number (118118) and creator of the Orange brand and Sahar Hashemi – best-selling author and the founder of Coffee Republic. She replaces Ann Summers chief executive Jacqueline Gold who has withdrawn due to illness.
They have both been booked as speakers in their own right, along with “the beermat entrepreneur” Mike Southon, Gerald Ratner – former chief executive of Ratners jewellery chain who described some of his stock as “total crap”, the chief executive of Admiral Henry Engelhardt and live marketing guru John Blaskey.
The Business Breakfasts and Business Lunches are also held in the innovation Theatre proving excellent opportunities for visitors to network or entertain corporate guests. The breakfast speakers are Chris Moss (Weds) and Mike Southon (Thurs) while the lunches see John Humphrys interviewing Sahar Hashemi and Chris Moss (Weds) and Gerald Ratner speaking (Thurs).

More seminars have been lined up in the UWIC Business Theatre focusing on success in business, while in the Steps2Success Theatre speakers will produce solutions to common problems businesses face in the key areas of HR, ICT, finance and sales and marketing.
Event organisers have also come up with an innovative Speed Networking Centre, facilitated by Speed Networking UK with three sessions each day at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Each will run for 20 minutes and consist of 5 mini meetings, lasting 4 minutes each and catering for 10 people at a time.
