Issued on behalf of Celtic Crusaders Rugby League Club
CELTIC Crusaders rugby league club have signed a new deal with one of the world’s leading kit suppliers.
The four-year contract with rugby kit manufacturers and suppliers KooGa includes the supplying of the club playing strip, training kit, the academy kit and all replica kits for public sale.
The Crusaders – in the top three in Co-operative League Two and among the favourites for promotion and ultimately SuperLeague status – have an existing kit deal with KooGa which runs out at the end of this year.
Celtic Crusaders’ chief executive David Thompson said: “We are delighted to have secured a new four-year deal with KooGa and are very pleased with the preliminary designs for next year’s playing strip.
“This is yet another example of a household brand name that is keen to play a continuing part in the Crusaders’ success story, with KooGa joining the likes of S4C and Redrow Homes.”
Bill Newton, managing director of KooGa, said: “As the premier kit suppliers for rugby in Wales and the second-biggest rugby kit supplier in the world, we consider the rise of the Celtic Crusaders as an excellent investment for our business.
“We already supply the kit for two of the leading SuperLeague clubs and have just signed another three SuperLeague deals. The Celtic Crusaders will, hopefully, provide us with another SuperLeague opportunity in the future.”
