- Use the same branding styles in your online and offline media. This can be easily achieved by using the headers and footers from your website on your email marketing;
- Use hyperlinks in your emails to drive traffic straight to your website;
- Be an expert in your sector. Don’t be afraid to blow your own trumpet, especially if you work in a niche market;
- Send emails during the day to avoid the early morning inbox clutter. Tuesday and Thursday between 10:00am and 12:00pm are especially popular with B2B email marketers;
- Keep email copy short and to the point.
