New Stock In For The Charity Shopper

HOT off the success of its original sell-out shopper, Cancer Research Wales has received further stock of its ‘bag for life’ – but this time cool blue has been swapped for hot pink in a show of support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Designed to replace the use of the eco-nasty plastic bag, the charity launched its original blue design in July, and within weeks it was sold out.
With a limited run of 2000 bags, Cancer Research Wales’ new pink bag will be on sale at Cancer Research Wales shops and fundraising events alongside the original blue shopper bag for £1.50 – with all proceeds going to help fund vital research and treatment into cancer in Wales.
Maggie Hughes, Charity Director at Cancer Research Wales, said: “The response that we had to the original blue bag was tremendous. Not only does the bag look great but 100 per cent of the profit from every bag will help fight cancer in Wales.
“We’re funding a research project into breast and prostate cancer – two of the most common cancers affecting people in Wales. By buying this bag, people will not only be doing their bit for the environment, they will also be contributing towards groundbreaking, Welsh-based research projects.
