Three New Faces Join Darwin Gray Solicitors

By admin

Issued on behalf of Darwin Gray

Two new solicitors, Catherine Burke and Rhys Parsons, and litigation assistant Tegen Quinn have joined Cardiff-based law firm Darwin Gray.

Catherine Burke joined the commercial property team in September. She trained and qualified in Cork where she went on to work extensively in commercial property at the height of Ireland’s ‘Celtic Tiger’ economy, advising foreign, national and local companies and acting on the expansion of investment property portfolios.

Rhys Parsons qualified in September and joined the employment law team, working with Bethan Darwin and Jason Smith. Rhys also assists Jason with sports law and is involved in running 8 Total Management, a specialist sports agency co-founded by Darwin Gray. Rhys is a fluent Welsh speaker and, having spent six months working in Paris and a season working with Agen rugby club, he is fluent in French too.

Tegen Quinn assists both Rhodri Lewis and Stephen Thompson with litigious and commercial transactions. She graduated from Cardiff Law School in 2004 and is due to qualify as a Legal Executive from the Institute of Legal Executives in Summer 2009.

Darwin Gray was formed in 2002 to specialise in commercial property, employment, litigation and commercial law. Since then the firm has grown to six partners with 15 lawyers – five of whom are fluent Welsh speakers – and a specialist HR consultant.

The firm has also expanded its range of work to include commercial agreements, intellectual property, media, franchising, sport, insolvency and construction.
