Wales’ richest cat scratches its way to success
To celebrate the launch of the new National Lottery Scratchcard, Kitty Cash, Emma and Luke Pittard and their glamorously pampered puss Missy, showed players that they really could scratch their way to a bigger cash kitty – and feel like the cat that got the cream – if they win the top prize.
One-year old Missy is far from the average moggy. Although Missy’s owners hit the Lotto Jackpot in 2006, it is actually the cat that is the most pampered in their house.
Lotto winner and Missy’s owner Emma said: “Missy is definitely a pampered puss. She has her own leather and fur cat sofa and a pink feather collar.
“We have not had her long but already she’s the head of the house-in fact she’s a bit of a diva.
Kitty Cash is the first National Lottery Scratchcard to feature a cartoon created by the famous cartoonist, Randy Glasbergen. There are five quirky designs and each includes a lighthearted animal-related joke or slogan, similar to those found in newspaper cartoon strips.
The Kitty Cash Scratchcard costs just £1 and can be purchased from The National Lottery’s network of over 26,000 retailers across the UK. With overall odds of winning a prize of 1 in 4.99, the Kitty Cash Scratchcard offers players the chance to win a whole range of instant cash prizes at their fingertips – up to a £2,000 top prize.
Players must match three identical cat symbols in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row to win a prize – the prize amount for that row is identified by the arrow pointing in the direction of the winning line.
