Website partnership to benefit Welsh football clubs
By admin
Football clubs of all sizes in Wales are set to benefit from the Welsh Football Trust’s partnership with leading football internet provider Club Website.
Courtesy of Club Website, Welsh clubs will now be able to host their own free website to profile players, league tables, fixtures and generate additional revenue to support their activities.
The new partnership is central to the Trust’s ongoing support for football clubs and will provide them with an easy to use template system to build their own websites on which they can communicate information to players, parents and supporters. Clubs can also raise income by promoting sponsors via the in-built advertising space.
Club Website is the UK market leader in providing professional websites for amateur football clubs and leagues. The free service is now available to all clubs in Wales ahead of the new season.
General Manager of the Welsh Football Trust, Neil Ward said: “The Welsh Football Trust is delighted to be linked with Club Website in this venture.
“Thanks to the free services now on offer, clubs can improve communication to members and supporters and generate much needed funds to support their activities via a quality and easy to use website system.”
Johan Haynes, Managing Director of Club Website, is delighted with the new agreement saying “Club Website gives support to where it is needed the most, at the grassroots level. Our aim is to give every club and league in the UK the opportunity to develop a social community and provide a vehicle that helps put money back in to the game of football. This partnership will allow us to work closer with, and support football clubs of all sizes in Wales.”
