Work-life balance couldn’t be better for Llanmoor’s Lindsay

As Llanmoor Homes sales negotiator, Lindsay Windle, celebrates her 6th year with the family-run housebuilder, the dedicated employee has also notched up another milestone – the purchase of her 5th Llanmoor property!
Lindsay’s Llanmoor love affair began in 2002 when, having being let down by another housebuilder from whom she was hoping to purchase, she came across Llanmoor’s mixed development at Elm Farm in Llanharan.
Within months, she had both purchased a 3-bedroom detached Chiswick house type and started working for the company on a part-time basis.
The Llanmoor link was further strengthened when, a year later, Lindsay took on a full time role as sales negotiator and made the move into a 3-bedroom detached Bayswater, which better suited her needs at the time.
“With just my husband and myself at home, it seemed sensible to downsize slightly and the variety of Llanmoor properties available on the development allowed us the flexibility to do so”, says Lindsay.
“We’d been really pleased with our first property and saw no reason to move further afield when everything we needed was right on the doorstep.
“This became even more apparent when my husband became ill and we decided to move into a house with a garage – the 3-bed Finchley – in case we needed to convert into a downstairs bedroom at any point. Thankfully, he’s now much better and we’ve made our fourth move – but this time to Llanmoor’s Maes Y Gobaith in Llanharan.
“We’ve once again gone for a 3-bed detached – this time a Windsor – and the garage yet again gives us flexibility to convert should my husband, or possibly my elderly mum, need the downstairs room.
“We’ve owned and lived in four Llanmoor properties but the fifth, which we’ve now sold, was one we purchased to rent out to our son so Llanmoor has been good to the rest of the family too!
“I’ve worked for several housebuilders and can honestly say that I’ve not seen such a high standard of build and customer care as that at Llanmoor – I think we’re finally settled now but knowing that we’ll always get a good deal and a great property to live in, I’d never say never to moving onto our sixth Llanmoor home.”
