Two new directors have been appointed at IT company BSS to help with the company’s continued expansion into new markets.
Rhian Daniel, a graduate in interactive design from Bath Spa University, has moved into the role of creative director at BSS, where she will be responsible for all creative functions across the business, and will take the lead role in BSS’ sister web design company Picseli.
Bruce Roberts, secretary of Swansea Business Club and chair of the Gwalia Trust, has also taken on the role of director at BSS.
His appointment will build on his extensive sales experience as the former regional director and head of sales for Wales and the West Country for Konica Minolta.
In his new role Bruce will continue the expansion of BSS and its sister IT hardware and software maintenance company Pulse IT and web design company Picseli, while exploring areas of diversification and expansion into new markets across South Wales.
Now in its 25th year of business, BSS has recently been awarded Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status, making it one of only a handful of companies to provide a fully integrated IT service in South Wales.
Speaking of the appointments, Teifion Davies, Managing Director of BSS, said: “The appointments of Rhian and Bruce signify a very exciting time for BSS and everyone involved in the business.
“Their invaluable range of expertise and experience will help to place BSS in a strong position so that we can continually improve on the service that we can provide to our clients across South Wales while exploring new technologies and facilities to offer.”
