The course comprises of two parts; First Impressions, and Developing your Team, and once completed will lead to a recognised customer service qualification.
Richard said: “In the hospitality industry you only get one chance to make a good first impression. Every member of staff in the tourist sector in Wales is responsible for the opinion that visitors will generate about our country and the impression they will be left with.
“The Croeso Cynnes training course is about ensuring visitors to Wales get the warm welcome they expect and deserve, and leave feeling that they have been taken care of.”
The scheme will support the brand values – ‘Real, Human, Magical’ as promoted by Visit Wales.
Acorn Training Director Sarah John said: “As one of Wales’ leading providers of training, learning and development, Acorn is extremely proud to have become one of only a select few companies able to deliver this new scheme.
“Richard is part of our outstanding Learning & Development Division which provides training services to more than 1,000 individuals across Wales each month.”
