There’s no place quite like a Llanmoor Home

Having moved around the world for the past ten years, the lure of a brand new Llanmoor home has finally convinced Phil and Cynthia Hughes, to store away the suitcases and put down some firm roots at the popular Cefn Cadno development in Llanharan.
Phil’s job in the construction industry has seen the couple relocate from Scotland to North Wales, and even as far as Dubai. But enough is enough and they are now looking forward to enjoying some quality time in their new 3-bed detached Oakwood property.
Phil’s job as South Wales and South West England depot manager for global machinery company, Marubeni Komatsu, has meant a return to his home region of South Wales, in what the couple say will be their last move.
After six months of searching, the Hughes’ finally found their dream home at Cefn Cadno and, having stated location as a major factor in their decision, were delighted by its convenience, situated close to major motorway and rail links and with easy access to the capital city where Phil works in Pengam Green.
Cynthia said: “The location is just perfect for us. We’re close to local shops as well as the sea, and there are lots of places we can take the dog for a walk.
“My mum lives nearby in Swansea, so it’s nice to visit her when I can, and the people here are so friendly. We’ve spent years moving around from place to place and while it’s been fun at times, the time is now right for us to settle and it feels right that we do it here.”
Another priority for the Hughes’ was that their home should be a new build. Phil said: “My job keeps me very busy and new homes are much easier to look after, with things less likely to go wrong. We looked at several other new build homes, but Llanmoor stood out. We got to choose our own kitchen as well which made it a lot more personal and we’re both so pleased with the finished product.”
