Sarah goes from customer to colleague at Acorn

By Effective Communication

Leading recruitment and training agency Acorn has appointed a familiar face as its new industrial resourcer for its Bristol branch.

Sarah Hancock, 34, from Thornbury, took on the role after previously seeking Acorn’s services to find her temporary work. After a fifteen month placement with Bezier as a client services executive ended, Acorn approached Sarah to join them.

Sarah said: “Working for Acorn as a temporary worker I was always impressed with the professional yet friendly approach of the staff. When the opportunity to work for Acorn directly came up I didn’t hesitate to accept it.

“I am really enjoying the role and the training provided has been excellent. I am looking to learn as much about the industry as possible. I hope to use this knowledge to expand both client and candidate bases. I hope to excel within my role and further my career within the Acorn Group.”

Debbie Cole, branch manager said: “We are delighted to have Sarah join Acorn. As we have been working with her for a while now to find her temporary work, we have seen what she is capable of. I’m really looking forward to seeing how she fits in and any changes she can implement to benefit the branch.”

Established in 1992, Acorn has 32 branches across the UK and finds jobs for approx 6,000 people every week into some 850 different clients across a range of sectors.
