Wales U16 Triumph in Trinations

Wales’ finest young footballers have returned from Dublin triumphant after winning this year’s Trinations Tournament.
Wales’ A team beat both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland 1-0 while the B team managed a 3-0 win over Northern Ireland.
The matches took place at St Kevin’s Boys FC in Crestfield and at the AUL Complex in Clonshaugh.
Manager and Welsh Football Trust Technical Director, Osian Roberts, said: “I am very proud of the team. All the players performed extremely well and got to show off what the Trust has taught them.
“There are a number of very promising players emerging from the development squad who I am certain will progress and develop in order to compete on the international stage in future years.”
