GEESINKNORBA announces transition to new CEO

The leading designer, manufacturer and provider of world-class services in the area of refuse collection vehicles GEESINKNORBA has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Mr Theo Lemmen and announced a transition from current CEO and operating board member, Mr Nandit Gandhi.

Mr Lemmen, a Dutch national, joins the company from DAR N.V. where he was CEO and takes on the role from Mr Nandit Gandhi who will remain on the GEESINKNORBA operating board and continue to provide direction to the company.

Mr Gandhi was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in August 2009 and has made significant changes to the company in that time, setting it on a strong path to profitability and success. GEESINKNORBA has achieved significant milestones and is well positioned to deliver a strong performance for 2010.

In announcing Mr Lemmen’s appointment, Mr Gandhi said: “Theo brings tremendous leadership experience through work in sales and marketing and general management positions. Over the next couple of months, I will help him make the transition fully into the role. My work with GEESINKNORBA will continue as an operating board member and I will continue to provide direction through Theo.

“We’ve made significant progress in a short period and this is reflected in our financial results and the support from our customers. I am proud of the GEESINKNORBA team’s achievements and results and the appointment of Theo will help ensure that we continue along the same path forward.”
