Swansea businesses greet media man
By Andy Pearson
One of Wales’ top media men is to speak at Swansea Business Club this week.
It’s likely to be a useful networking opportunity for the city’s business community.
Ron Jones, CEO of Tinopolis, is due to address business club members at the city’s Village Hotel this Friday (January 28).
Jones set up Tinopolis 22 years ago. Then known as Agenda, it produced S4C’s daily Heno show from Swansea.
Based in Llanelli, the firm is now one of the UK’s largest independent TV companies.
Pleasure
Business club secretary Bruce Roberts told me: “It’ll be a great pleasure to have Ron with us.
“His success story is one well worth telling and hearing.”
Club president Spencer Feeney said: “Ron has masterminded the growth of a company with global significance in a dynamic modern industry.
“He’s an inspiration to all Welsh business people.”
Jones will address Swansea Business Club at the Village Hotel, Swansea, from 12.30pm this Friday.
