By Andy Pearson
A key figure in the ongoing success of Rolls-Royce is guest speaker at Swansea Business Club next month (March).
Former Gowerton Grammar School pupil Tim Jones is due to address club members over lunch at the city’s Marriott Hotel on Friday March 25.
Mr Jones has been a Rolls-Royce regional director in Cairo, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, marketing director with the company’s defence business and managing director for the India operation.
He is now an international business consultant with offices in Henley-on-Thames, the Far East, Middle East and India.
Military
The son of Swansea solicitor Philip Jones and former city mayor Susan, he served with the military before pursuing a business career.
Club president Spencer Feeney said: “Tim has enjoyed great success around the world and he’ll be warmly welcomed back home in Swansea.
“His track record throughout life is one of high achievement.”
Leadership
Business club secretary Bruce Roberts said: “The theme of Tim’s talk will be Business Leadership in Action – and he’s eminently qualified to discuss that.
“He’s actually back by popular demand; Tim captivated us with a talk last March and left members wanting more!”
Tim Jones will address Swansea Business Club at the Marriott Hotel, Swansea, from 12.30pm on Friday, March 25.
