Here comes the big day …

Did you know there’s a royal wedding in the offing?
Well, it must be official now because the South Wales Evening Post is out and about selling ad space into its souvenir preview supplement.
As the front cover mock-up on the right shows, it’s going to do just what it says on the tin.
Celebratory
Due to be published on April 13, it’ll be celebratory in nature, hoping to pull in ads from those businesses planning an event linked to the big day.
Ads range from full page for £900 to a 6cm strip right across a page for £240.
Well, nobody’s invited me to the church or reception so I’ll need some advice on where to enjoy the day.
Rhosilli Beach, far from the madding crowd, feels like a good option if this summery weather persists. I’m sure that day’s 10 O’clock News will cover the event in reasonable detail.
