There’s nothing like a little Hollywood glamour to raise the profile of a Welsh location.
Michael Sheen’s work on The Passion over the past few weeks has brought much positive PR for Port Talbot.
Now Ray Winstone and daughter Jaime have been in Carmarthen filming horror flick Elfie Hopkins.
It may be “a twisted tale of cannibalism” according to the Western Mail – but it still delivers good news for west Wales.
And Winstone Sr, well known for Sexy Beast, may only have a cameo part in this film.
But Carmarthenshire should still draw attention to the fact that it’s been hosting this film crew – it’s positive, fun, creative and shows that destinations west of Cardiff are open for business.
Publicity opportunities are there – grab ‘em!
