UK’s king of shaves to address South West business leaders
By Effective Communication
One of the UK’s sharpest entrepreneurs is to address a high-profile gathering of South West business leaders.

Will King, who has taken on the global giants of the shaving industry with his King of Shaves brand, will talk in Bristol on June 9.
His appearance comes at the IoD South West Evening With Entrepreneurs in the city’s Marriott Royal Hotel.
IoD South West chairman Gerry Jones said: “It’s a real coup to have Will at the dinner.
“After redundancy, he created The King of Shaves in the depths of recession around 17 years ago, starting with shaving oil which was taken by Harrods.
“Now he has more than 30 products in major stockists around the world. Will has won many awards and is one of the UK’s most creative and passionate entrepreneurs.”

The Evening With Entrepreneurs – compered by former ITV West presenter Richard Lyddon – will spotlight some of the region’s brightest self-starters and will feature the presentation of this year’s IoD South West Awards.
Mr Jones said: “The deadline for entries is this week (note: March 31). There are fantastic business leaders at all levels across the South West; we wish to ensure they’re widely recognised.
“The IoD South West Awards has become one of the region’s most high profile competitions with entries from all counties.
“We’re looking for inspirational entries from the widest possible range of businesses.”
