Racing for business at Ffos Las

Carmarthenshire’s Ffos Las Racecourse is fast becoming the go-to place for west Wales exhibitions.
Along with the splendid Parc y Scarlets, which hosted its first major pop music event with The Saturdays, last weekend, the racecourse provides outstanding faciltities.
And publishers South West Wales Media are making good use of it.
Get-together
The latest get-together they’re planning there is a wedding show fronted by weekly papers the Llanelli Star and Carmarthen Journal.
It’s due to be held on September 18 and staff at the papers are already eagerly looking for exhibitors and supporters.
One thing they can be assured of when getting involved with an SWWM event is that promotional and PR opportunities are healthy.
Plug
The publisher tends to make full use of its publications, including the South Wales Evening Post, to plug its gatherings.
And this year there are the added possibilities brought by new glossy magazine County Life which covers Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigionshire.
All those businesses with a foot in the weddings market would do well to hear what the publisher has to say about the Ffos Las event.
It’s likely to be a good day out – and a good business opportunity.
