Sun shines on Post
By Andy Pearson
Seasonal publications seem so much more appropriate when the weather’s right.
So the past two or three weeks of fabulous Welsh sunshine have given the South Wales Evening Post a handy push in its latest project.
On May 14, Swansea’s leading print publisher plans to unveil its annual Summertime guide.
It is due to be a 24-page tabloid pull-out featuring ideas on what readers can do over the holidays.
It will be a mix of advertising and editorial, and businesses in the leisure industry are well advised to consider how they can be featured.
Tourist attractions, holiday centres, hotels, cafes, restaurants and leisure centres can all use this as part of their marketing mix.
Advertising rates include full pages for £750 and half pages for £500 – but there should also be a little leeway to look at getting some editorial in there.
