Tom Daley sponsor to greet Devon and Cornwall business leaders

The Cornish HQ of a company which sponsors London 2012 diving hope Tom Daley is to make a splash with business leaders.
Bude-based Bott is to host a visit by Devon and Cornwall members of the IoD and their guests on May 17.
The company, masterminded from Germany, is a world-leading manufacturer of workplace and vehicle storage systems, industrial furniture and workplace systems.

IoD Devon and Cornwall chairman Richard Ayre said: “Bott has more than 300 highly skilled staff in Cornwall, more than 750 Europe wide, a turnover in excess of €60m and a history stretching back 80 years. They’re a great enterprise to have in the South West.
They are supporting Tom Daley, one of the UK’s big gold medal hopes, in the lead-up to and during next year’s Olympics.
They also sponsor windsurfing youth world champion Izzy Hamilton, of Whitstone, near Bude.
The IoD’s May 17 gathering at Bott’s base on the Bude-Stratton Business Park will see the company explain how it achieves its ambitions in an integrated international business.
The visit includes a factory tour, presentation, networking and a buffet lunch.
