New-look for Post business
By Andy Pearson
Business coverage in the South Wales Evening Post has a new look.
The Swansea-based title’s monthly platform for enterprise has been redesigned, reconfigured and beefed up.
It’s an encouraging step forward for the Post in a sector traditionally seen as Western Mail territory.
Revamped
The first issue of the revamped pull-out was out this week. It featured 12 pages, a rash of new columnists and a stronger accent on photography.
Edited by business writer Rupert Hall, this edition of the Swansea Bay Business Post features stories on travel firm Edwards Coaches, Swansea’s Jack in the Box Comedy Club and Llanelli entrepreneur Max Thomas.
More in-depth features look at the latest challenges facing the commercial property sector and Neath-based new business Celtic Stone.
New
Columnists include the regular John Evans of Pritchard Stockbrokers and new additions such as Jon Francis of Sip Wealth Management, Mark Ellis of PWC and Sandra McAlister of McAlister & Co .
As the media wheel turns, Rupert is already looking for ideas for the next issue which will publish in around a month.
Let him have your ideas. In the light of last week’s devastating Fforestfash fire which saw an industrial estate closed and businesses badly affected, I’ve already suggested a disaster recovery feature from the IoD Wales.
